The place of the women in the society
Apart from the “modern” monotheistic religions , all the ancient religions or beliefs which preceded them , include a Mother Goddess
Generally this Mother Goddess is also the mistress of wild animals , snakes , wolves , bears , and so on

All mythologies , legends and ancient sacred texts, except out from the monotheistic religions , give an equal place in the society to the women
In those ancient times patriarchy or matriarchy sometimes existed locally , but gender equality was the general rule
The advent of the monotheistic religions will impose the patriarchy
But the Catholic religion was forced to integrate Saint Anne , mother of the Virgin Mary
The mother of the Virgin Mary and grandmother of Jesus Christ , appear for the first time in the proto-gospel of James , apocryphal of the second half of the 2nd century
The Catholic Church could not do without it and had to absorb it in its recoveries
You only have to go to Sainte Anne d’Auray , in Brittany , her sanctuary , on the days of the Big Pardon , to realize the accuracy of this recovery , by the fervor it arouses
Saint Anne is truly integrated into the Catholic religion by The Golden Legend
First titled ” Legenda sanctorum alias Lombardica hystoria ” , “ What should be read of the saints or history of Lombardy ” , this book is quickly called Legenda aurea , because its contents are reputed to be as precious as gold
This book written by Jacques de Voragine , Dominican and Archbishop of Genoa , tells the story of about 150 Christian saints and martyrs , and events in the life of the Christ and the Virgin Mary
Philippe Walter , French medievalist , tells that a Christian mythology was thus constituted ” built on the pagan beliefs that Christianity had to assimilate in order to control them “

Without necessarily going as far as worshiping this Mother Goddess , we must take this entity into account so that our world will be balanced :
When we study the man body , we realize that it is a fantastic machine that approaches the perfection
So when we think that the woman body is the same , but IN PLUS , SHE REPRODUCES …
This is why a world which inferiorizes the woman and thus forgets the half of humanity , can only go to its destruction
And anything that can make us live on a fair balance , is a good approach
